A lovely tabletop dinner gong, dating from the early 20th Century. It is good quality and the gong itself is made of solid brass set within an arched oak frame on an oak base. It comes with its original wooden handled beater.
It is in very good condition for its age. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and displays very well. There are some minor signs of age and use and some tarnishing on the brass but nothing detrimental. The beater is in good condition and most importantly it makes a very satisfying and loud ''gong''!
