The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
This is a good quality movement with micro regulator, gold jewel settings and Breguet hairspring. The movement is signed Tavannes Watch Co, a company founded in the Jura Mountains in Switzerland in 1891 by Henri-Frédéric Sandoz. It is also signed with the name Rambler, one of several brand names registered by Tavannes. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison watch case company. The case is in lovely condition.
The glass lens is in beautiful condition.
The white dial is in super condition and with original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
