Edwardian Oak Estate Letter Box

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely oak letter box dating from the early 20th century. It was likely originally made for an estate or a reception. It is well made with a sloping top encasing the letter slot and a nicely carved fretwork upright. The front has a bevelled glass panel and it comes with its original working key.

It is in good original condition and has a lovely patina. There are some general signs of age and use, some minor marks and but no major damages or anything detrimental. It has been cleaned and lightly polished and is ready for use.
