Art Deco 1.00 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, 1930

Description

A truly lovely antique diamond engagement ring. The old mine cut diamond in the centre - weighing approximately 1.00 carat - is impressively white, bright and very lively. The stone is secured in a finely crafted platinum eight-claw coronet collet. The centre leaves of the tri-split shoulders are set with six (three each side) eight-cut diamonds, leading to a D-shaped 18k yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR.

Cut:? Old mine cut diamond in the centre, with eight cut diamonds in the shoulders.

Colour:? The centre is G. The sides range from F to G.

Clarity:? VS2 in the centre. The sides range from VS1 to VS2.

Carat:? The centre is approximately 1.00 carat, with a further approximate 0.07 carat in the shoulders.

Circa:? 1930.

Size:? N (UK) or 6 1/2 (US). Free sizing available.

Weight:? 3.43 grams.

Metal:? 18k yellow gold. The main diamond is set in platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
