In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It has a lovely mellow colour and nice aged patina.
It is a good size, big enough to seat 4-6 comfortably, and a good height to sit at with ample leg clearance of 23 3/4" (60cm) all the way around.
It is in good condition and displays well. There are various signs of age and use, some minor marks and stains on the top surface and some shrinkage splits but nothing detrimental and the table is strong and sturdy. It has been cleaned and lightly waxed and is ready for use.
