In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1900s.
It stands on turned bun feet. The drawers open smoothly and the drawers and cupboards are generally clean and tidy inside with a couple of old stains.
It is in good condition and the pine has a lovely warm colour. It has been gently cleaned and has a smooth waxed finish, retaining its lovely aged patina. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks here and there and a few small knocks, shrinkage splits and old repairs but nothing untoward or detrimental. Overall it displays very nicely and is ready for use.
