Good Old Sheffield Plated Game Cover with Coat of Arms C1800

Description

This unusual rectangular shaped game cover is made of Old Sheffield Plate. Bearing no makers marks and dating to c1800, this piece has a beautiful Coat of Arms to the front on an inlaid silver cartouche. Tinned to the interior and with a sturdy handle.

In good condition with very slight signs of age related, with virtually no loss to the plate. A couple of very minor knocks to the body.
