Description

A French brass cased striking & repeating carriage clock. A gilded dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Noted retailers name 'Mallett & Sons' to the dial. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. A lever escapement visible through the top glass. A repeater button to the top. Made by E Maurice of Paris. The original travelling box. Circa 1895.
