Carved Chippendale Mahogany Chair Circa 1765

Description

Superb George III carved Chippendale cuban mahogany side chair with carved top rail and carved pierced splat. Raised on bold finely carded cabriole legs with claw and ball feet. All in stunning un-touched original condition with no breaks or repairs, Wonderful rich colour with great waxed patina. Provenance Kier House, Dunblane. FRESH ON MARKET STRAIGHT FROM SCOTTISH MANSION HOUSE.

Size; 39" high, 23" wide at seat front, 22" deep. 18" seat height.
