Gillers Antiques Ltd has dated this Old Paris Porcelain Vase to the 1850s.

The vase features a flared oval form with a scalloped rim, moulded footed base, and raised rococo-style ornamentation with gilded highlights. At the centre, a richly coloured floral bouquet is painted by hand in tones of violet, red, yellow, and blue. The vivid palette and expressive floral composition are hallmarks of Petit's distinctive style.

Old Paris porcelain was produced by a range of independent workshops in Paris from the late 18th century to the 19th century. It was highly sought after by European nobility and collectors and remains a popular category for decorative arts enthusiasts today.
