A superb quality 19th Century burr walnut and floral marquetry credenza of serpentine form, having a beautifully shaped and figured burr walnut top above a frieze with ormolu moulding, decorated with floral inlaid marquetry panels, the central cupboard door below having a large oval floral marquetry panel decorated with ormolu moulding and boxwood inlay, opening to reveal two fixed shelves inside lined with a red velvet material. The central door flanked either side with shaped fronted glazed doors with ormolu moulding opening to reveal two fixed shelves inside, the columns at the front of the credenza are decorated with lovely quality ormolu mounts and further floral inlaid marquetry panels, supported on a shaped plinth decorated with ormolu mounts.
