Salisbury Antiques Centre has dated this piece to the 1700s.
Each drawer has pretty inset veneered chevron decoration and later brass plate handles which are a good match for what would have been there originally. The overall colour is good and there is a nice wax finish to this good early 18th century bureau. Circa 1730.
