Pair of Silver Plated Ships Vases

1900 - 1920
Description

An interesting pair of Silver Plated vases, made for use on the Shaw Savill Line cruise ships by Walker & Hall in the early 20th Century. They are stylish and good quality with a tapering shape and a heavy weighted foot to prevent them toppling on a moving ship.

They have the maker's name stamped under the foot and each vase is engraved with the logo of the ship.

They are in good condition for their age however they have suffered some damages. There are some dents and dinks around the base and body and some light surface marks and signs of age and use but they do still display well. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
