An Arras Garden Bench

Description

A French iron garden bench in the typical Arras style. Interestingly different in that it has an original cast iron base rather than the usual half round tube design. As such it is heavy. Well weathered and with many layers of old paint in green and white. The cast iron base has an old clamped repair under the paint carried out years ago (see photo 8) This bench is comfortable to sit on and is of a lovely shape.

196 cm wide 80 cm deep The back is 70 cm high.

The seat is about 33 cm from the ground.
