Antique English Domed Sterling Silver Ring Box - 1905

Description

A charming and most elegant sterling silver ring box dating to 1905, Edwardian in era. The shaped ovoid form is topped with a domed hinged lid which fits perfectly having been gilded on the interior.

The lid opens to reveal a fitted interior in a jewel-toned purple velvet to accommodate three rings.

The perfect little jewelry box in excellent condition. The box is hallmarked (full mark slightly rubbed) for Birmingham 1905 together with the maker's initials HM for the renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.

3 3/8" x 2" deep x 1 3/8" tall.
