A Flight Barr and Barr Worcester Meat Platter c.1815 – 1820. Very finely decorated with a continuous band of hand painted roses around the edge and with a solidly gilded, gadrooned rim. The central reserve decorated with a family crest, possibly that of the Milbanke family, which according to Fairbairns book of family crests is depicted as ‘’A Lion''s head gules, collared ermine.’’
Impressed FBB mark and 18 incised
Condition: Good with just some light surface wear and a small chip to the edge on the reverse
