A Flight, Barr and Barr Worcester Porcelain Entrée Dish c.1815 - 1820. Formed of three oval shaped sections, the domed lid with Strawberry moulded finial hightened in gold, the inner liner with solidly gilded gadrooned rim and the base with two solidly gilded handles either side. Both the base and lid very finely decorated with a continuous band of hand painted roses around the edge. The central reserve decorated with a family crest, possibly that of the Milbanke family, which according to Fairbairns book of family crests is depicted as ‘’A Lion''s head gules, collared ermine.’’
Condition: Excellent with just some very minor wear to the gilding
