The body and domed lid are vibrantly hand-painted with a pattern featuring exotic birds (peacocks), chrysanthemums, peonies, lotus blossoms, and intricate gilt scrollwork. The lid�s central panel depicts a stylised garden scene with birds and floral elements, framed by green-bordered reserves in the Famille Verte tradition.
