Rawlings Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The bench is very well carved with Stately carved lion arms and three deep carved Tavern scene panels to the back with figural finials , The base has two fine floral carved green man panels with a lift up seat ideal for storing shoes boots or bags .
It is a great colour and in very good condition . The lift up seat comes complete with a working lock and key .
