Good mid 19th century turned lignum vitae mortar and pestle of a decent size. Both parts are nicely turned with different parts of the wood shown. The pestle is original to the mortar. No damage and a nice colour with waxed finish.

SIZE; 4 1/2" diameter by 7" tall. Pestle is 9 1/2" long.
