The watch is in mint factory fresh original condition and we don't think it has ever been worn.
It is quite stunning, all we have done is ultrasonically clean the case and bracelet and service the movement so it is absolutely pristine inside and out.
The 17 jewel Rolex 1401 movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and the bracelet. The case has London hallmarks for 1965
The watch comes with its original inner and outer boxes.
Rolex are one of the most exclusive makers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class.
The watch case measures 15mm in diameter not including the winding crown.
It is full length and fits a maximum wrist size of upto 16.5cm but this can easily be reduced by any competent jeweller.
Overall this watch is as new it would certainly make a perfect gift for someone born in 1965.
