A charming antique brass travelling sewing box c.1780, of rectangular form with a rear hinged lid, the top engraved in typical Georgian font with initials and a proverb ‘T.W.P A Stitch In Time Saves Nine’. This beautiful box is in excellent condition commensurate with age and measures 3 ¼ inches across.
