A stunning 19th century wooden ceremonial dragon kasa or kjenge ale bowl with beautiful hand-painted rosemaling decoration. There is writing down one side which reads, ''Lilfroten i Tjoten'' This roughly translates as ''Small seed in the swamp ''. I have been told it could be old Norwegian for Lily of the Valley. Vibrant colours and really decorative piece.
Excellent antique condition. Slight damage to underside of the tail.
