Description

A good quality Tunbridge Ware Rosewood Table Box. The top has a micro-mosaic design depicting Hever Castle, (ancestral home of Ann Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII). The box can be attributed to Henry Hollamby*. The lid has a wide floral border, and the waisted sides a frieze of a different floral design. It is fitted with blue silk & velvet.

The condition is good with some age related wear.
