Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Nouveau jewellery, produced between 1890 and 1910, is characterised by organic forms, flowing lines inspired by nature, and sinuous whiplash curves. French makers during this era emphasized hand craftsmanship, integrating diamonds and precious metals into stylized botanical and curvilinear forms.

Bracelets from this period frequently feature 18ct yellow gold, silver-topped gold, or platinum settings to showcase white diamonds. Construction technique included openwork link carving, articulated mechanical hinges, and precise millegrain edging.

Authentic items often bear French assay marks, such as an eagles head for 18ct gold or a dogs head for platinum. Detailed examination usually reveals hand-set diamonds alongside fine millegrain detailing along metal borders.

An antique diamond link bracelet acts as a focal accessory when paired with modern tailoring or simple evening wear. Wearing it alongside plain metal bangles highlights the detailed historic metalwork.

Clean the bracelet using a soft brush, warm water, and mild soap to remove build-up around diamond settings. Store the piece individually in a lined fabric box to prevent metal scratches and gem abrasion.
