A superb Spode sugar box and cover of London shape with pagoda shaped knop and moulded side handles. Ornately decorated with a rich gilt pattern with gilded knop and rims. Unmarked, c.1815-1820.
It measures 17cm (6 11/16'') wide by 11cm (4 6/16'') wide and 11.5cm (4 1/2'') high.
In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration and minimal handling wear; a lovely example.
