The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
Gilt acanthus detail to the handle and the rim. Red painted mark, c.1820.

It measures 6.6cm (2 5/8") high and 6.7cm (2 5/8") rim to rim.
In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration. Slight wear to the gilt on the rim but otherwise no discernible handling wear to the enamels or gilding on the handle. A couple of very small areas of faint crazing. The basket weave moulding is nice and crisp. Some firing faults inside the base around the edge.
