Late Georgian Dark Green Large Onion-shaped Apothecary Bottle

This is a large, green, early 19th century Georgian onion bottle, probably used by an apothecary.
The bottle is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with age and use.
The bottle is blown in green coloured glass decorated with a painted label for ''AO. MENT. P'' and is approximately in the shape of an onion. It measures 23.5 cm (9.4 inches) in diameter at its widest point. It ends in a kicked-in base which is plain save for the pontil mark. The bottle is 31.5 cm (12.6 inches) in height. There is some scratching to the lateral extremities. There are no chips, cracks or any obvious evidence of restoration.
It weighs in at 1.51 kg. (~ 3 lb. 5 oz.).
