Antique Silver Rim Match Striker

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of a small glass match holder with a solid silver rim. The holder itself is made from ribbed glass and has two small handles and a hole in the top to store the matches.

The silver rim is hallmarked for London, 1905.

It is in good condition for its age. There are some small dents and surface marks on the silver rim and some small chips and scuffs to the glass but no major damages and it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
