Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The egg and dart outer edges, enclosing upper leaf flower, and hare bell corners, whilst the lower corners are finished with flower heads. The inner edge, a fine lappet slip, holding the original bevelled glass plate.
Date circa 1850.
