Description

Antique Waltham Traveler half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The gilt movement is fully signed and the serial number, 26,428,736 which dates it back to 1928. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case is in good condition with just light surface marking. The front cover has a small central lens surrounded by blue enamel filled Roman numerals. The lens has some surface marking.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is a glass lens which is in nice condition.

The signed dial is in nice condition with blued steel hands including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
