1900 - 1920
For Sale by AC Silver
Description

A stunning, fine and impressive antique 1920's 2.07 carat diamond and 14 carat yellow gold ring; part of our diverse men's jewellery collection.

This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond ring has been crafted in 14ct yellow gold.

The substantial ring has a ribbed design with a textured finish, incorporating a lemniscate-shaped collet setting to the anterior surface.

The feature settings display a 1.06ct and 1.01ct Old European round cut diamond, in a vertical linear formation.

The broad, graduating antique yellow gold ring shoulders melding seamlessly with the plain ring shank.

The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 14ct gold fineness mark (14K).

This men's antique diamond ring in yellow gold is supplied with a two IDGL diamond grading report certificates.

A unisex double diamond gold ring makes a bold statement, perfect for engagements, milestone birthdays (30th, 40th, 50th), and anniversaries (10th, 50th). Its timeless design also suits weddings or as a meaningful promise ring.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.

Condition

This stunning antique signet style men's ring is excellent quality, set with impressive feature diamonds displaying a fine white colour, brilliance and presence; although one of the diamonds is clarity graded at P1, it shows no unsightly black inclusions.

The ring is an excellent gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with a clear hallmark to the interior of the shank.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique diamond jewellery/estate jewelry.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Jewellery from the 1920s Art Deco era is defined by geometric patterns, bold structural forms, and flush or rub-over settings. Design emphasis shifted towards architectural symmetry and clean lines compared to earlier Edwardian scrolling motifs.

Rings of this period typically featured platinum, white gold, or yellow gold paired with diamonds and coloured gemstones. Settings often integrated diamonds into heavy metal mountings with carved or engine-turned detailing.

Authentic pieces usually feature hand-finished details, historical hallmarks denoting metal purity, and period-appropriate stone cuts such as old European or transitional cuts set in flush rub-over mounts.

A substantial gold dress ring can be worn as a standalone statement piece on the index or middle finger, or paired with minimalist gold bands for balanced contemporary layering.

Clean the ring using warm water, mild soap, and a soft-bristled brush, avoiding harsh chemicals. Store the piece individually in a lined box to prevent diamonds from scratching adjacent metals or stones.
