A beautiful Victorian gilded sterling silver half pint mug with incredible detail and decoration. The thick gauge of silver used gives it a pleasing feel to handle and the gilded finish really does catch the light and the eye. The cast handle is exceptional, as is the high relief band around the mug. This mug really is of the highest quality and its condition is quite remarkable.

The inside is in good order.
The gilding remains very even with no points where it has been worn away, it has been very well looked after.
Some very light surface wear as expected for its age.
The decoration is still remarkably sharp and defined for its age.
