Description

A charming pair of antique Victorian mahogany stools dating from circa 1860. Featuring stuffed-over seat pads upholstered in an rust coloured fabric over a mahogany frame and standing on carved cabriole legs with scroll feet.

Construction/Wood:

Mahogany

Condition Report:

Solid and sturdy with good patina. General wear and marks commensurate with age. Upholstery is old, fabric new. Some old worms holes underneath the frames. Some of the spandrels are missing (the leg corner blocks). Couple of splits/chips to frames.
