Description

Antique Vertex pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a high grade 16-jewel stem-winding movement, which screw set jewels and swan neck regulator, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model from the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case is in lovely condition, as is the acrylic lens (some white reflection showing in the photos).

The dial looks good to the naked eye… if viewed through a jeweller’s loupe, there are four very faint short hairlines. Original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single chain, 32cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
