Technical Description
A stunning French Daum Nancy Art Nouveau liquor service dating to c1900.
The service consists of six cordials, six drams and a decanter. They all have vertical ribbed decoration and 22ct gold brushed rims. The decanter, a shaft and globe form, has its original stopper with applied gld brushed prunt. The cordials have conical bowls with ribbed stems and folded feet.
A stunning set of superb condition
We have provided a link below to a taller set of glasses with a matching signed tray which sold in 2017 at a leading European auction house in Vienna with the same rib moulding and distinctive brushed gold. Research has also shown that different forms, such as Champagnes and cocktails were made in this design during the Art Nouveau period.
