This Omega 2400 comes with a cool story. Made exclusively by Omega for the people and in some cases the military in Sweden. On the case back it states ''Antimagnetisk, Vattentat, Stotskyddad'' this is the Suveran which is Swedish for Sovereign.

These watches were made for the Swedish people to buy to assist in the war effort by bringing in urgently required funds. Some were also issued to various ranks in the military. This one as per the serial was produced in 1943.

These manual wind watches were powered by the 30T2 Caliber movement. This one having just passed through our watchmaker is in excellent condition throughout.

35mm stainless steel case with steel Omega crown fitted to a generic black leather strap and steel buckle.

The dial would have originally been silver however over the years it has naturally discoloured and pitted to some extent. The Bullseye name given to it because of that black ring across the dial (faded roman numeral hour markers) and the subsidiary seconds dial above the 6. Original hands that have a beautiful almost burnt colour to them. The dial is clearly marked in places which can be expected from a light dial that is over 80 years old.
