Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
It has a stunning silver plated case with a shaped fold down handle, it is in excellent condition, bright and clean and there is absolutely no rubbing to the silver plating its in perfect condition.

The movement is of very high quality and has its original platform escapement, it runs for a full 8 days and keeps excellent time.
It strikes on the hours and half hours and the alarm functions correctly.

All of the glass panels are perfect with no cracks or chips.
The movement is in excellent clean and running condition having just undergone a complete and comprehensive overhaul by Alan Williams of Plymouth Clocks who is a fellow of the British Horological Institute so you can be assured that this clock will give trouble free service for many many years before requiring any further attention

A beautiful high quality and rather rare victorian striking carriage clock in wonderful condition which will give great pleasure for many years to come.
This clock has obviously been highly prized and looked after over the last 110 years and is a credit to its previous owners.

The clock movement comes with a full 12 month warranty.
Dimensions of clock: Height with the handle up is 7" and with the handle down 5.5" . It is 3.5" wide and 3" deep.
If being over critical there is a slight blemish to the dial to the top left hand corner but this is behind the bevelled edge of the glass is and not really noticeable other than that there are no cracks chips or hairlines to the dial, its in extremely good original condition.
