A Betty Joel 1920’S Coffee Table

Description

A coffee table by Betty Joel by Token Works. The Betty Joel signed label beneath and dated 1928.

Made from solid Austrialian oak and recently waxed and polished. Some signs of wear commensurate with age, but structurally sound.

Betty Joel (pictured) designed furniture, textiles and interiors, and had shops in Sloane Square and Knightsbridge. The Studio Magazine featured her work between 1927 and 1937. Today the quality and design of her pieces are highly regarded.
