Antique Japanese Satsuma Porcelain Vase By Okamoto Ryozan

A beautiful Japanese Meiji period Satsuma porcelain by the Yasuda companies lead artist Okamoto Ryozan, of flared form hand painted in typically vibrant enamels depicting a continuous scene of women and children by a lake during the cherry blossom. This fine vase has bamboo like gilt banding with detailed gilt border work and is signed Ryozan under the Shimazu mon, it is in excellent condition and stands 7 inches tall.
