Description

A 1972 Omega Geneve stainless steel wristwatch. A silvered dial, in excellent condition for its age. The dial has the classic Omega 'sunburst' finish, giving great depth to the dial at all angles. Applied steel numerals, with a central black strip and capped by a lume dot. A date aperture to 3 o'clock, framed by a black outline. Printed 'Omega' and 'Geneve' script to either half of the dial. Signed with 'Swiss Made' to the dial edge.

A slim stainless steel case with a flat bezel and sloped lugs. This model has a very pleasing look overall, with a truly classic design. A screw down case back. Original Omega winding crown. Case reference 136.0099.

A 17 jewel manual wind caliber 1030 Omega mechanism. This mechanism has a quick date change feature. The 35M serial numbers date this watch to 1972.
