Very Attractive Antique Brass Coal Scuttle

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb 19th Century polished brass coal scuttle and shovel of unusual Robert Adam style design. The hinged lid and top is profusely embossed with tied ribbons, flower heads, harebells, honeysuckle and drapes. Surmounted with an ornate and decorative handle with ebonised ring turned wooden carrying handle and matching shovel. The whole supported on an elegant gadrooned square base. Condition- Very good and ready for use. Dimensions:- Max.Height (to top of shovel handle)…24’’/ 61cm. Width…11.5’’/ 29.5cm. Depth…17’’/ 43cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £28.
