A charming opaline glass and sterling silver scent bottle, fully hallmarked for Charles May, Birmingham, 1903.
The hinged sterling silver lid is adorned with roses above a well formed opaline glass body with chamfered sides. There is some staining/discolouration to the interior bottle and the silver lid is slightly depressed to one side, but still opens and closes as it should. Glass stopper present.
