A sliding cursor operated by the cursor knob just below the glazed front. The body mounted with a bow fronted and glazed silvered thermometer with two indices, being Fahrenheit and Reaumur. The thermometer casing held with ogee and concave brackets. The case finished with a circular reservoir, and rounded cistern cover. The dial engraved for the maker ‘Desbois, Gray’s Inn Passage, London’.
