A Continental Marble Topped Console Table Circa 1850

Description

An Elegant Continental Marble-Topped Console Table, Circa 1850. The table has particularly nice proportions and features beautiful ash veneers.

The beautifully figured marble top, with an array of greyish shades and contrasting whites, is finished with a double bullnose profile and sits above a single oak-lined drawer with a working lock and key. Supported by smart C-scroll legs at the front and stiles at the rear. The whole stands on an inverted breakfront open base with decorative moulding along its edge.

A beautifully crafted antique console with a wonderful colour, that is both functional and pleasing to the eye.

In very good condition for its age, having been cleaned and polished, ready for its new home!
