Antique Late Victorian Oak Chest of Drawers

An antique late Victorian oak chest of drawers, with a "Newth Dursley" maker's mark to the back. The chest features a 3/4 gallery top above five drawers. The top two drawers open to reveal a fall-front desk with an oxblood leather writing surface. Raised on a plinth base, it combines both practicality and elegant design.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches. Splitting is visible on both sides, and there is cracking to the leather surface. Staining is present on both the top and the leather writing surface.
