A fabulous Japanese Meiji period bronze and mixed metal onlaid vase of tapered form depicting a finely detailed silver boat with shakudo detailed sails, the bronze body of the vase stippled with shakudo to give a misty sea effect, which clears at the tip of a snow capped silver Mt Fuji. This beautiful vase is artist signed on the back and is in excellent condition standing 9 inches tall.
