Description

Stunning King Street Derby (Sampson & Hancock) porcelain pot pourri vase and cover in a lovely rich pea green enamel ground with large central reserve exquisitely painted with garden flowers against a marbled brown background. The vase is an inverted pear shape with slight waist and the domed cover has circular piercings and a flame style knop. Gilded knop and rims as you would expect. Puce S & H mark, c.1915-1935.

It measures 13cm (5 1/8") high and 8cm (3 1/8") wide.

Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and very minor wear, just a very slight rubbing to the gilding on the knop.
