Fabulous Victorian Silver Mounted Sliced-cut Citrine Glass Scent Bottle, Birmingham 1897

Description

This fabulous and unusual large glass scent bottle or cologned bottle is Birmingham 1898. The vivid citrine yellow glass body decorated all over with finely cut diamond patterns. The neck mounted with a hallmarked silver collar and fitted with the original and rather striking sliced-cut glass stopper.

It's a very tactile and rather unique glass scent bottle.

Hallmarks:

Maker's marks erased.

Lion Passant.

Birmingham date letter "w" for 1998

Dimensions:

Height: 14cm / 5.4 inches

Diameter at widest: 10cm / 4 inches.

Condition:

Good

Glass in excellent condition.

Silver collar in good condition , with minor creasing.

Maker's marks too faint to identify.

Postage:
