Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
It stands on four elegantly block turned legs with square feet united by shaped cross stretchers supporting a turned & dished lower shelf. With wonderful colour and original patina and splendid detailing to the mahogany. A really good quality Georgian period piece that would work equally well as a bedside cabinet as it would next to a desk or as a lamp table.

Good colour and original patina. Various marks and wear commensurate with age. An old mend to the top corner (solid). The removable solid top is stained a slightly different colour.
